I was looking for a Mac version equvilent to WinSCP. DCommander looked to fit the bill. When I purchased this, however, I was unable connect to ANYTHING but my Macbook's hdd. I thought 'hmm. maybe it is on CentOS' (thinking host firewall). Lets play dawn of man deutsch 2019. I went to a Windows 7 VM and installed WinSCP (to verify). Launched WinSCP on the Win 7 box, authenticated, and it worked like a champ. I reached out to DCommander Support for this product almost a week ago and have gotten ZERO correspondance. Short Answer: Don't watse your hard earned money. Developers need to give us a test run to make sure thier stuff works verses forking over money for this half baked junk.
No way of disabling their upgrade notification
With the latest update they added in a spam feature, evey time you open the app it asks you to buy their new version.
There is no way to disable it, and it is very annoying. I have put up with their bugs, and issues, but for this one I am just going to have to uninstall it and never look back ….
